USB Linux

I have decided, convinced by the purchase of a 2GB USB stick (€15??? What's happening to the computer industry???), to get some Linux distro squeezed onto a USB stick.

There are quite a few pretty much designed for this - Damn Small Linux and Puppy Linux are two old favourites - and a lot of desktop distros either have a "miniturized" branch or can be installed onto a largeish USB stick as normal.

More news when it works (or doesn't)
