Film and Game music resources. This is an interesting area of the music industry which isn't really looked at very often (there's an attitude of "music for music's sake") but is massive. I wonder how many indie films and games there are looking for soundtracks compared to the amount of artists prepared to devote some time to something other then their next album...
As an aside, a band from nearby (sort of) Derry which I found aptly marked as "electronica soundtrack/film music" on Myspace, then forgot about, then rediscovered, is Garvan Mc Cann, aka
The Crimson Underground. Relying on piercing drums and film-like athmospheric pads, along with a few samples now and again, it's definately worth a listen. Go ahead.
